People often say that being a dad is the best and most rewarding thing a man can do. They also say its bad for the ol’ golf game. We see a lot of things out there celebrating the do it all mom but Fore Fathers is ready to celebrate the Do-it-all dad. How might you ask? Through polos that celebrate the various things a do it all dad does from maintaining that perfectly manicured yard to the being the grilling king.

The Story

Its a classic story. Two friends Nick and Jake were childhood friends who hadnt spoken in a while. Jake was running the super popular Do Less Dad Instagram account when the company started. The two friends partnered up to create a really damn cool brand. They probably dont want to hear this part but as I spoke with Nick I found myself much less interested in the origins but more so in development of the product and ultimately the success they have had so far.

From the first time they discussed the product to the first polo being released was a year long process. The pair went through their fair share of vendors. They sourced over 25 samples over the year to find the perfect material that felt right and had the quality they were looking for. Once they got that they were ready to go to market. Like any business they were trying to get their name out there. On December 3rd the business was about to go to the next level.

On December 3rd this meme appeared on the internet. From there it circulated a million times. The polo featured is Fore Fathers Turf Dad. Since the meme they have struggled to keep it in stock but there i s a waiting list so youll get one if you love it.

The Polos

While the Turf Dad design is their most popular dont sleep on the work their designer, Brandon Griswald, is out here pumping out. When I first saw the Fore Fathers polos at the DFW Golf Show the designs were the first thing I noticed. The one that caught my eye was their Meat Sweats polo. While I’m not some grilling wizard I can appreciate a good design. I’m also partial to the Golfing Dad polo as well. No matter your hobby there is probably a design for you. From coaching to wine, Fore Fathers has the do it all dad covered.

Good design is great but what good is design with a crappy polo. At the Golf Show I was able to actually get my hands on the material and give it a feel. The quality felt like any other high end brand out there. You could get these confused with a Nike or FJ shirt. One of the things I really like is spandex in my polos and the Fore Fathers contain 8% while the Nike Dri-Fit contains 6%. Its a high quality feeling polo.

Final Thoughts

The Fore Fathers story is one we have heard before but Fore Fathers is brining innovative designs to the high end polo game. With Fathers Day coming up it would be an awesome gift for the Do It All Dad in your life.
