*Updated with USGA Conforming list pictures!*
Happy Masters week! Its one of my favorite weeks of the year and getting it in the fall this year is a definite plus in a year full of negatives! Ill talk cool masters themed items later this week but today lets talk about a New Callaway driver!
This picture leaked out online over the past weekend and like I have done with other drivers that leaked I am here to wildly speculate about what we are seeing from this picture

New Jailbreak Technology
Jailbreak was a technology that was introduced with the original Epic driver. What makes it great? Well it basically connects the sole and the crown as one piece which allows maximum transfer of energy. It is a technology Callaway obviously believes in since all of their drivers since the GBB Epic have had it.
As more proof they believe in it they have not only continued it into the new driver but they have refined it. Current jailbreak is two rods that frame the sweet spot. You can see it on the bottom of the drivers with 2 little circles. The rods basically frame the sweet spot. The new Jailbreak appears to put two more smaller rods in the middle of the sweet spot. I would have to imagine this increases ball speed all over the face. I would also imagine it helps improve consistency out of the middle of the face. As much as Jailbreak was a big jump itll be interesting to see if these changes take it to an even higher level.

Small Cavity
If you look at the top of the driver you will see a small cavity. This is typically used to save weight and move the Center of Gravity away from that part of the club. If you put it in the back (Nike Covert) it moves the COG forward. Callaway appears ot be using a cavity to change that COG. In this case, it is out on the toe which moves the COG towards the heel, which makes sense because this is the MAX model.

Max Model
For Callaway, the MAX model is usually reserved for the driver designed to produce more of a draw. This is clearly the case this year as well. The previously mentioned cavity in the toe and a weight track all point to this being the case. I would imagine the Sub-Zero and standard models will have the weight track closer to the middle of the club. Its also interesting to see Carbon Fiber in the toe. Its not a ton but its enough that the COG is pushed towards the heel. I want to see how much carbon fiber is used on the subzero and standard models.

Final thoughts
Overall nothing entirely game changing. Hopefully they dont mess with Jailbreak too much and mess it up. I also know we can expect the AI tuned faces to be modified and improved as well. The green color scheme stays too. Its not my favorite driver of the year so far looks wise but I bet it will look good on shelves and get lots of play! Cant wait to see official specs and to get it in my hands
